Complementary Medicine Clinic

About the clinic
Neomi David is a leading practitioner in complementary and rehabilitative medicine, specializing in holistic treatment for animals and humans. Neomi has over two decades of experience as a certified practitioner in Chinese Medicine (TCM), with deep specialization in the Five Element Method and Chinese pharmacology. Throughout approximately 20 years of her work, she has been involved in clinical diagnosis and treatment, teaching, and training practitioners, and continuously expands her professional knowledge. In recent years, Neomi has also expanded her expertise to the field of classical homeopathy, which she integrates as an inseparable part of the diagnostic and treatment processes.
As a pioneer in the field of complementary veterinary medicine in Israel, Neomi founded in 2010 Levona College – the first college in Israel for Chinese medicine studies for animals – and established a new generation of certified practitioners in this field. In addition, for many years she has led courses and training programs for professionals from around the world as part of the international college Essential Animals, thereby establishing her status as an international expert in complementary medicine for animals. Today, Neomi manages a private in-person clinic, and in parallel operates an online clinic that allows her to provide remote consultation and treatment to clients from across the country and the world. This innovative approach especially supports those living in remote areas in Israel and clients from around the world who wish to benefit from Neomi’s experience and professional care.
Personal and Professional Approach
Neomi David’s treatment approach is holistic, thorough, and individually tailored for each patient whether animal or human. The assessment process serves as a cornerstone of her work, aiming to deeply understand the inner world of the patient. While humans can express their feelings in words, animals express distress in other ways – mainly through behavioral, habit, and physical function changes. Neomi is skilled in “decoding” each animal’s unique language, in order to understand what is truly going on; the behaviors and symptoms are viewed as ways the animals “speak” the difficulties and discomfort they are experiencing, whether originating from physical pain, a health issue, or emotional distress. During the diagnostic session, she delves not only into the visible symptoms, but also into the life story of the patient – what experiences and traumas they’ve undergone and how these influence their current state. Understanding the patient’s personal background enables access to the root of the problem.
The holistic assessment process therefore integrates the physical and emotional aspects of the animal: identifying the deep causes that led to imbalance, understanding their impact on body systems, and decoding the signs transmitted through behavior. This comprehensive understanding forms the basis for building a personalized treatment plan – whether through Chinese herbal medicine, Homeopathy, tailored nutrition, lifestyle changes, or any other therapeutic tool.
Neomi places the highest importance on combining professional expertise with a warm human approach. She works from a worldview that healing is a complete process requiring recognition and response to the physical, emotional, and mental layers of the patient. In her work, she combines sharp clinical intuition – the fruit of over 20 years of experience – alongside scientific data and conventional medical diagnoses. Neomi carefully reviews medical records, blood test results, X-rays, and similar documents to form the broadest and most accurate picture possible of the patient’s health status. She advocates interdisciplinary collaboration and cooperation with the animal’s treating veterinarian when needed, in order to develop the most optimal and comprehensive treatment strategy for the patient. Neomi also encourages animal guardians to be active partners in the process – to share their observations, provide ongoing feedback, and apply recommendations at home to improve the animal’s environment and lifestyle. In this way, the parents of four-legged children become an inseparable part of creating a supportive healing environment for their loved ones. Neomi’s personal and empathetic approach creates a safe and calm space in the clinic: the animals feel they are not being forced or that their personal space is being invaded, and the humans accompanying them feel understood, involved, and supported throughout the process.
Core Treatment Methods
Neomi integrates in her work a wide range of healing methods and professional tools, dynamically tailored to the patient’s needs. Below are the main methods and tools she uses in the clinic:
• In-depth Holistic Diagnosis: A thorough and comprehensive diagnostic process combining understanding of the patient’s physical and emotional condition, review of medical and behavioral history, and direct clinical observation. Neomi decodes each animal’s unique “language” to identify the root of the problem, not just its external signs. This diagnosis lays the foundation for building a personalized and precise treatment plan for each patient.
• Traditional Chinese Medicine: Professional use of ancient TCM tools for treatment and healing. Neomi diagnoses according to the principles of Five Element philosophy and Chinese diagnostics. A central component of the treatment is Chinese pharmacology – personalized adaptation of Chinese herbal formulas and herbs to balance body systems, strengthen immunity, and improve vitality. Additionally, she provides dietary and lifestyle recommendations inspired by Chinese medicine, to maintain long-term treatment results.
• Classical Homeopathy: Neomi specializes in homeopathy and integrates homeopathic remedies as an inseparable part of her therapeutic toolkit. The homeopathic remedies – derived from natural substances in high dilution – are carefully selected to support healing of both body and mind. The integration of homeopathy in the treatment plan helps address deeper and more subtle aspects of imbalance and accelerate the healing process.
• Essential Oils and Aromatherapy (APA): Informed use of aromatherapy within the Animal PsychAromatica (APA) method. In this unique method, animals are given a “controlled choice” of essential oils, plant extracts, and hydrosols (aromatic water extracts) according to their needs. Neomi uses this knowledge to reduce stress and anxiety in patients, support natural healing processes, and enhance emotional well-being. Essential oils are always selected with individual adaptation and in cooperation with the patient, in the safest and most beneficial manner.
• Touch Therapy and Orthopedic Rehabilitation: In cases of injuries, pain, or orthopedic problems, Neomi incorporates therapeutic massage techniques and movement rehabilitation. She is trained in medical massage for animals and uses these tools to improve range of motion, reduce muscle pain, and accelerate recovery after surgeries or injuries. When needed, she guides guardians in simple physiotherapy exercises to continue practicing at home, strengthening the animal’s muscles and joints and maintaining progress between sessions.
• Integration of Western and Complementary Approaches: The clinic’s treatment approach is not a replacement for conventional veterinary medicine but complements and integrates with it. Neomi works in cooperation with veterinarians and physicians as needed, integrating a broad range of medical data – from official diagnoses, blood tests, and imaging, to ongoing medication tracking. All this to create a combined treatment plan: one that takes the best of both worlds – scientific Western medicine and traditional complementary medicine. Neomi’s multidisciplinary approach enables optimal treatment adaptation for every condition, resolution of particularly complex cases, and at times even reduction in dependence on chemical medications or invasive procedures when a safe and effective alternative exists.
• In-Person and Online Clinic: For the convenience of patients and their guardians, Neomi offers her services both at the physical clinic and online via video calls (Zoom). She developed a unique model for remote diagnosis and treatment, enabling her to accurately assess the patient’s condition without an in-person meeting. During an online session, the animals and their guardians are in the camera frame, and Neomi guides the guardian on how to position the camera and sometimes zoom in on a specific body part as needed. When necessary, guardians are asked to send short video clips documenting behaviors or specific symptoms for deeper analysis after the session. Through these work methods, Neomi has achieved many successes in rehabilitating animals worldwide – all through Zoom. The online clinic saves animals the stress of travel and their guardians time and costs.
• Ongoing Support and Follow-Up: One of the key factors in treatment success is consistent follow-up and continuity in the process. After the initial diagnostic session, Neomi builds a personal and detailed treatment plan for the patient. Follow-up sessions are then scheduled regularly – usually once a month – during which the patient’s condition is reassessed, updated recommendations are provided, and treatment dosages are adjusted as needed. Neomi offers comprehensive treatment packages that include the initial diagnosis and five monthly follow-up sessions, or annual support with a planned series of sessions, to ensure continuity and focus in the rehabilitation process. Between sessions, Neomi maintains contact with the patients (and their guardians) through updates and consultations via WhatsApp, accompanying them in every question or concern that arises along the way. This dedicated support gives patients a sense of security and ongoing care, contributing significantly to building trust and the long-term success of the treatment.
Conditions Treated in the Clinic
Neomi’s vast knowledge and experience allow her to treat a wide variety of medical, rehabilitative, and emotional issues – both in animals and humans. Below are key examples of treatment areas in the clinic:
• In Animals – Physical Issues: Orthopedic problems (lameness, joint pain, herniated discs, partial paralysis, etc.), trauma injuries and post-surgery rehabilitation, allergies and skin problems, gastrointestinal disorders (vomiting, diarrhea, chronic inflammatory diseases), hormonal/endocrine imbalances (e.g., diabetes, thyroid issues), chronic diseases of all kinds, oncological treatment and support. Neomi tailors each animal a unique treatment plan suited to its condition, which helps relieve symptoms, improve function and quality of life, and reach optimal balance.
• In Animals – Emotional and Behavioral Challenges: The clinic also specializes in emotional and behavioral imbalance. Common conditions Neomi treats include: anxiety and fears – such as separation anxiety, fear of loud noises, claustrophobia, agoraphobia, etc., aggression toward other animals or humans, depression, obsessive-compulsive behavior, urination or defecation due to emotional reasons, adjustment problems to new environments, and more. Treatment of these cases includes a unique combination of emotional-calming tools (such as homeopathic remedies, calming herbal formulas, balancing essential oils) alongside consultation on environmental and habit changes to improve the animal’s well-being. This holistic approach often proves successful in reducing emotional distress and shifting negative behavioral patterns in patients.
• In Humans: The same holistic methods and specializations Neomi developed over the years are also applied in treating humans – especially for those seeking natural and integrative solutions for complex health issues or chronic pain. With her training in Chinese Medicine (graduate of Broshim Campus, Tel Aviv University) and specialization in classical homeopathy at Dr. Chaim Rosenthal’s college, Neomi offers complementary treatment for a variety of conditions in human patients: muscle and joint pain (including back and neck pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia), migraines and chronic headaches, digestive disorders (IBS, reflux, ulcers, etc.), allergies and immune issues, respiratory issues (e.g., asthma), hormonal imbalance (e.g., menopausal symptoms, menstrual issues), stress, anxiety, sleep problems, and more. The treatment for humans follows a similar approach to that of animals – with a personalized plan that considers both physical and emotional aspects. Many patients report significant improvement in quality of life, general well-being, and symptom relief thanks to the unique blend of traditional medicine and modern understanding that Neomi offers in her clinic.
Professionalism with a Personal Touch
One of the most prominent features that distinguishes Neomi David’s work is the harmonious combination of uncompromising professionalism with a personal, connected, and compassionate approach. Clients arriving at the clinic report a sense of confidence and trust instilled by Neomi from the very first meeting – both thanks to the vast knowledge and experience she brings, and her pleasant, patient, and caring nature. Every patient – whether on four legs or two – receives warm attention and full care. Neomi takes great care to listen deeply to the concerns and hopes of the patients’ guardians, share the diagnostic findings and the reasoning behind each treatment step, thereby creating transparency and partnership in the healing process. She is available to answer questions and provide support throughout, creating for her clients a sense that they have close professional guidance and a reliable address for any concern. Neomi’s approach and genuine passion to help are felt in every interaction – which directly contributes to treatment success, as calm and confident patients respond better to the process. In the safe and supportive environment Neomi creates in her clinic, animals open up and cooperate, and humans feel they are in the best hands.
